Job Summary
The Tooling Logistics Manager leads a team of logistics professionals and coordinators with responsibility for managing tooling shipments throughout the region and ensuring compliance with all international shipping documentation and requirements. Coordinates with internal and external customers to facilitate the import and export of tooling in various countries. Collaborates with Tooling Coordinators, Service Managers, Customer Service Managers, the Sourcing Team and Freight Forwarder/Customs Brokers to facilitate the temporary and permanent import/export of tooling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead conversations with tooling centers to understand the scope of projects to determine specific country requirement for import/export, validate appropriate customs bonds are active and license is in a valid status
- Establish business relationships with key logistics partners and negotiate service agreements as needed
- Independently resolve matters with Freight Forwarders/Customs Brokers and tooling teams globally, such as insurance concerns, regulatory requirements and impacts, fee schedules, etc.
- Ensure that the proper documentation is being supplied to required customs agencies in accordance with local customs requirements, and that required permissions are being obtained prior to shipping
- Own performance metrics for key shipment lifecycle activities and maintain alignment with business targets resolving issues as they arise
- Analyze and communicate shipment metrics, identify trends and anomalies, and identify and recommend improvement opportunities
- Audit data inputs completed by freight forwarders on behalf of FieldCore, to ensure accuracy and compliance with Schedule B
- Contribute to strategic planning activities of tooling organization, as subject matter expert for international shipments
- Collaborate with IT to enhance ETM and reporting to automate data for real-time performance assessments and service provider discussions
- Collaborate with Service Managers and Service Directors to ensure compliance in daily activities
- Review tool mobilization data, employee feedback, and weekly reports, escalating concerns to upper management
- Travel may be required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, extra experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 10+ years site management or project management experience
- 4+ years of international shipping experience, preferably in power generation or technical industry
- 5+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
- English proficiency required

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $103,200 to $173,400. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
